Jeremy Jones - Life of Glide: Wed. Nov. 1st

After raising the bar for backcountry snowboarding with Further, Deeper and Higher Jeremy’s latest film is a celebration of the pure snowboarding and the simple pleasures it gives to those who do it. Event runs 7-9pm, film rolls 7:30pm. This event is FREE.

The inspiration for Life of Glide comes from a poem Jeremy once wrote, in which he summoned up the greatest influences he experienced in the mountains and dissected his lifelong passion for the simple and sacred feeling he calls “the glide”.

We will have a limited selection of his snowboards on hand designed by surfboard shaper Chris Christenson. Join us for the film plus talks on backyard discoveries and climate change with a true legend.

Starring: Jeremy Jones, Chris Christenson, Tom Curren, Craig Kelly & Skip Frye.

'Snapt3 Reloaded' Surf Film Premier Fri. 10/20

FRIDAY OCT. 20TH 7PM IN MILL VALLEY // Join us for the trilogy to the influential surf films Snapt 1 & 2. This 100% independent surf film is a reminder of how they used to be made: basically a dude filming his friends and traveling around having (possibly too many) good times. Starring Bruce Irons and a crew of other absolute rippers that feels like a refreshing break from todays more standard cast.

MV Skatepark Fundraiser Party 9/23!

We're hosting a party Saturday eve 9/23 in Mill Valley to help raise funds for a major remodel to the Mill Valley Skatepark. BBQ (thanks Good Earth & Stateroom Brewery), Youth Skate Contest, Live music by Magic West Music School students and some KILLER auction items. Come show your support!

About the Project:The upgrade to the existing skatepark will hopefully take place in spring 2018. The size cannot be expanded at this point, but if we raise enough money the existing uneven and rough blacktop could be replaced with cement. New skate features will be built out of wood/skatelite. The design is not finalized and more adjustments will be made depending on feedback and budget. The project is being led by a group of local parents, kids, city representatives, and Proof Lab.
