Nicole: We WERE headed to Auburn, but then this happened. First breakdown. Brett: "All I was doin' was ridin' it." Nicole: Yeah.

Nicole: Breakdown #2. 10 minutes later. Brett: All set and ready to hit all the skate parks between here and Auburn. Nicole:…dragging my 500lb. roller skates in tow too.

Brett: At this point, we decided to ditch her bike on Mountain View Road, and head to Boonville for sandwiches and beer.  Nicole: At this point, it's 100 degrees…. Brett: Black was such a bad choice.

Brett: We get back to her bike and it starts! ….and then dies. Nicole: Breakdown #4…where I began singing "You Are the Wind Beneath My Wings" which did NOT help. Brett: The bike started again in about 10-20 minutes later, and made it another 5 miles. (No photographic evidence). Nicole: And then I coasted down to the bottom of the valley, and let it stay there. Hopped on Brett's skateboard setup and gave my ass a beating over the remaining 10 miles back to Manchester for help.

Brett: Now let's drink a bunch of these beers and…Nicole: ride SAFELY home after they've been diluted into our circulatory system.
