We caught up with Clark during his last book signing tour up the CA coast in the fall of 2014 to find out more about his inspirational story. Clark is returning to the shop this Sunday 12/7/14 from 4-6PM in case you missed him last time. ENJOY!
Our buddy Perry just put out this short film – venturing around the backyards of Austin Smith-Ford, Nat Young, Kyle Buthman, Noah Wegrich, Nick Hdez, Darshan Gooch and Noi Kaulukukui as well as appearances from Tom Curren and sons Pat and Nathan. ENJOY.
The event is going to start at 6:30pm at Equator, with food and drinks, followed by a screening of a couple women’s surf film trailers, Brown Girl and It Ain’t Pretty, in the surf shop. The full length films are not ready yet, but come mingle with the filmmakers and surfers and enjoy 20% off all women’s clothing, wetsuits, and surf gear for the evening.
There will also be a live performance by Mira Manickam, a female hip-hop artist. The event scheduled to run until 8pm at the shop, and then move back over to Equator, going until 9pm.
Forget 3 turns to the beach – this is a more open and free flowing format where each division surfs together and winners are picked based on a few simple categories. Entry is FREE, just show up and register at the beach that day.
Come back to the shop after for continued festivities
