Join us Wednesday, October 8th in the Beer Garden for an evening of shark science, film, and community in support of the California White Shark Project (CWSP).
We'll be screening Near Miss, a short film by Josh Berry that tells the gripping story of a shark encounter and survival, followed by Q&A with CWSP representatives Paul and Scot.
We'll also be raffling off a bunch of epic outdoor-inspired prizes to raise money for CWSP.
About California White Shark Project
Dr. Paul Kanive and Scot Anderson of CWSP have spent over 30 years studying white sharks along the Marin and San Francisco coastline, building the world’s longest-running data set on these iconic predators. Their work has led to dozens of publications advancing scientific understanding and public awareness. Since its founding, CWSP has expanded its education program, bringing the world of white sharks into local classrooms.
